René Nijman, graphic designer
René Nijman, a dedicated graphic designer, embarked in 1995 on a professional journey that would take him into the world of high-quality packaging solutions at Van de Velde Packaging - Veerkarton, in the Dutch town of Assendelft.
Mike Arends, operations director
Born and bred in Groningen, Mike (29) joined Van de Velde Packaging GKB as a trainee more than 10 years ago and is now responsible for day-to-day activities as operations director. Mike has been at the company since the very beginning, so he has inside knowledge of everything from unloading containers to sales.
Monika Gagolewicz-Wilk, account manager
Monika was recently appointed account manager at Van de Velde Packaging Impresta in Poznan, Poland. She brings a lot of professional and practical experience as sales specialist in cartonboard production and packaging to her new role.
Bob Vincken, plant manager
Bob is plant manager at Van de Velde Packaging Wesly in the Dutch city of Maastricht. He brings plenty of practical experience to the role, given his background as a plant manager in plastic transport packaging production and an operations manager in LNG and chemical storage and handling.
Oscar de Gruijter, plant manager
We are thrilled to present Oscar de Gruijter as the latest addition to our team at Van de Velde Packaging - Veerkarton, a proud member of the Van de Velde Packaging Group. Oscar is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence at various companies in the food industry.
Stefano Barzaghi, plant manager
Stefano is plant manager at our site in Lainate, Italy. Stefano has a continuous learning mindset and a belief in the importance of self-awareness as a minimum starting point.
Nicolas Brungert, plant manager
Nicolas joined the Van De Velde Packaging Group in February as plant manager at our German site in Velbert. He started his professional career in the automotive industry, working in several process engineering, production management and European operations roles before switching to the world of packaging.
George Oratis, country manager
George has been a packaging executive and entrepreneur for almost 28 years in Greece, Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria. Back in July 1995 when he first joined the printshop run by his late grandfather and uncle, he knew that this was the industry for him.
Alberto Sousa, specialized packaging expert
Alberto has been working for our group since June 2020. He is passionate about packaging in general, but he particularly loves the versatility of solid board. He is dedicated to offering our customers better packaging solutions that make their logistics and production more efficient.
André Spaans, senior project manager
André is one of the two former owners of Mibox SAS, Multibox International BV, Mibox Services BV and Mibox Polska. He joined the Van de Velde Packaging Group in July 2022. Mibox SAS is specialized in tray-erecting machines, which are manufactured at its own plant in France. The other Mibox companies are focused on machine sales and servicing in Europe.
Eliška Michalcová, marketing specialist
Eliška joined Unipap, which is part of Van de Velde Packaging Group, in 2008 as executive assistant to the CEO, switching her focus to marketing a few years later. As a marketing specialist, Eliška likes being creative and thinking outside the box.
Eva Buckens, sales manager
Eva joined the Van de Velde Packaging Group in June 2021. She recently started her new job as sales manager for Belgium. Eva has more than 20 years’ experience in the packaging industry, in which time she has developed a reliable network, a hands-on approach and an always-ready-to-help mindset.
