What is micro-corrugated board?
The difference between micro-corrugated board and regular folding board is the layering and corrugation. Those multiple layers make it a good performing packaging & insulation. That makes a big difference for packaging solutions in the food industry, but it’s also perfectly suited to non-food solutions.
The number of layers and the height or thickness of the corrugation determine quality and application. E-corrugated board, for instance, is often used as an alternative to hard cardboard in shipping and gift packaging. The thinner F-corrugation is often seen in luxury and cosmetics packaging.
